A few years ago I had this idea that I would become a gardener. A gardener living in a condo at that point. I tried and honestly I didn’t do too bad. I did not produce much but I had plants and so for me it was a success. The next year we moved and I decided we would try again. This time we would have a raised garden bed and we would use the square-foot method. Oh yes, I was ready! We planted lots of vegetables. And I will say, I had a lot of tomatoes. But everything else did not quite make it. My cucumbers and squash tried to grow…they actually grew quite well. That is until the groundhogs started eating the leaves of my plants. I was so upset. So then we got to this year. I knew I wanted to try again with squash and cucumbers, as well as basil, mint, peppers, and tomatoes. I am doing lettuce as well but in containers and off the ground. Everything was growing well…and then there it was. The groundhog.
Two days later, when I went out to water the plants, I realized it had happened once again! The beautiful leaves on my cucumbers and squash were starting to disappear. Massive leaves were vanishing and I knew who was to blame. It just so happened that I had been recently approved to review a new product.
